One Prompt From Jensen Lets the Agent Set Itself Up
Setting up an AI assistant used to mean configuring it step by step by hand. This demo shows that the setup can be handed to AI, which is a signal for people who want to start using agents.

01What happened
Jensen closed his GTC Berlin 2026 keynote with a demo of Nous Research's Hermes Agent.
He opened with a direct line: the best way to build an agent is to let an agent build it for you.
02How it was done
- He used just one prompt
- The prompt had the AI install a customized version of Hermes and finish its setup
- After the install, he went on to demo Hermes. The source article breaks off partway through, so we do not know what it ran on.
First, some background. An agent is AI that can carry out tasks on its own, not just chat with you. Hermes is an agent built by Nous Research.
03What it can be used for
- What we can confirm: setting up an agent can itself be handed to an agent, which saves manual configuration.
- The source does not say what Hermes can be used for, so we will not guess.
04In short
On stage, Jensen had AI set up its own tools in front of the audience. The point is that getting started with agents may need less and less manual setup.
05Investment angle
The related ticker in the piece is $NVDA. This was the closing part of a demo, not financial data, and it is not investment advice.
